11th December!
Where does the time go?
I had intended blogging again more often - but fear that the odd piece I put on FB tends to distract!
I moved into my spare room last week as I was having some nigh-store heaters fitted. It is nice to know that my spare bed is so comfy! And I have been very cosy in there. Paul (a fellow golfer) finished installing the three heaters yesterday; one in sitting room, another in dining room and a third in my main bedroom. After a couple of days of the 'new smell', when I have had my windows open despite the gales blowing outside, my cottage is now snug and warm. So nice :-)

I had a nasty cold a while back and my enforced rest got me going again on the family history. It was absorbing trying to chase down people and places... thanks to everyone who has helped me with this ongoing and fascinating task. The picture of Uncle Tim was from a trip to visit churchyards Probus way...
I am looking forward to Christmas up in London with Bridgie - using the train to avoid the stresses of driving and parking in London!
