It must be said that out mornings were lovely... a lie in with tea and toast in bed. We both became later and later getting up, perfect for Bridgie to unwind after such a hectic few months :-) Several days we closed the gate to set off we'd check the time and realise that it was as close to 'afternoon' as was possible!
It was lovely!
Friday's forecast was for rain so we decided to go to Penzance and shop! Bridgie found a dress and I got some new shoes :-) The rain didn't really come till the night... next morning I awaited the delivery of logs. We were up bright and early (for us!) and our local log man arrived just after 10am; it took us till gone 11 to move the logs into the store with some left outside under a tarpaulin.
We were both a bit tired after that (well I was!) so we drove down the CotValley to Porh Nanven to look at the sea. It was the most beautiful colour and we were honoured with the presence of three seals.
It was stunning!
