Sunday began with thundery showers and we enjoyed our now usual lie-in! (And a read!) We weren't sure what to do because of the weather (strong South Westerleys and heavy showers) but decided to walk from Land's end to Nanjizal. This is one of the most beautiful sections of coast... so there are lots of pics, including Bridgie's favourite spot ;-) Locals are given free parking at Land's End which meant we could set off from there. Despite the strong wind it was warm and sunny. We were both a bit tired but this was another glorious day :-)
Bridie's favourite place was out on Carn Boel; we decided that from a distance it looked like a dinosaur...
From Carn Boel we walked on to Nanjizal - we were the only ones there and it was beautiful. The sand was deep and the stream cutting into it created wonderful shapes and bridges. We watched a storm pass over... we only had the odd raindrop but out to sea it looked quite fierce.
It was a stunning day :-)
