Saturday morning, 21st Keith and I set off for York about 8am. The roads were busy but we shared the driving and were in York at 12ish, ready to collect Bridge from the station. Keith did the honours and it was lovely to see her again - it had been a long time since we'd seen each other. Gill had arranged a meal for us at hers and then a trip to to the Theatre in the evening. We went to see See How They Run, and it was hilarious! It was an excellent production - brilliantly performed and it was enjoyed by us all. |
| At lunch were Grandma; Keith, Tim Bridgie and I; Gill and Geoff; Chris and Louise and young Harry and also Elisabeth and Michael, Sophie and newest addition, Emily. |
When the party was over and we had all cleared up it was time for Keith and I to set off for Bath.
Early Tuesday morning - 5.30am, I set off for Bedford. Unfortunately it was foggy so it was a steady old drive to Bedford, but I arrived in time to join the Pavenham ladies in the Tuesday morning golf! | It was LOVELY to see all the ladies - and we stayed chatting for ages! Chris then kindly me took me home to tidy up my hair! Then it was to Gill's to stay. Simon had arranged for us to go down to the pub in the evening but I must admit that by 9,30 I could not stay awake any longer and had to head for bed... |
