There was a very low tide today and when that happens the reef line becomes more visible between the headland near Porth Nanven and The Brisons. | You can see the line where the water changes colour/roughness. It seems to divide the waters from Cape and Land's End, and when it is rough it is treacherous! |
Up in St Just it was very misty but I've learnt it is always worth heading out because quite often the coast is clear :-)
You can see how misty it was back at the house when the sun was going down! I had struggled with a non-stop headache for a couple of days - I think a mixture of dust from the loft and the varnishing, so walks out were doing me a lot of good. I went down on to the shore at Priest's Cove on Wednesday and was so pleased to see my little arch was still in tact! And I had the most wonderful time! The shapes and patterns of and in the rocks here are wonderful... I spent about an hour clambering over rocks and among the pools, finding beautiful shapes and patterns. I'll put a few more pics on the Just Pics page - it was special. |
