We have had some wonderful blustery days with heavy showers :-) The county council needs to make cuts to its budget and one of the things that has been put forward is a reduction of hours that our library is open. At the moment it is openon Mondays, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays and is used by various groups - reading groups - bounce and rhyme for the littlies plus the usual computer usage. It is also the tourist information centre for the town. There is a lot of upset about the reduction in hours and various actions have been taken. This I think is the best. Everyone was asked to use the library on Friday and take out as many books as they could (max 18 apparently!) The result speaks for itself!
It will be a real loss to the town if the hours are reduced.
It has been lovely to be out on the golf course and go walking again. The garden is looking a picture - it is uplifting to walk down my path surrounded by camellias - they are beautiful.
I've added more pics on the Rambles page :-)
