Linda and I had hoped to play the remaining 9 holes but couldn't do so in the morning because of other players so we decided to do our walking this morning. We visited Gwynver first, then went on to Sennen. The car parks were full so we had to stop in the field at the top. Not a problem till we wanted to leave in the early afternoon when we found that the field was full of cars with no-one having given thought to leaving entry/exit points!! We squeezed through a narrow gap in the end and escaped. This was after the most beautiful walk to Land's End and lunch in the pub in Sennen. We were both tired...so what about golf you may ask? Linda said how disappointed she'd be not to see a sunset in Cornwall (at the Minack we were the 'wrong' side!) so instead of completing our golf we drove down to Cape and went out on the headland and watched the sun set. It was simply stunning :-) Pictures below! |
